John Bufalino

DESIGNER

Method to the madness
"I try to ask as many questions as possible up front. When you have a lot of information, you're better equipped to develop the best solution."

Experience
"I'm lucky I've had a lot of great opportunities so early in my career. Even as a student designer at Purdue, I was given the incredible opportunity to design and produce community and internal publications for the University. I've also had a lot of experience creating design in a variety of forms, from catalogs to CD packaging."

A tough audience
"I developed the design for our work for Consortium to Lower Obesity in Chicago Children (CLOCC). It was pretty challenging since we had to find a way to make health interesting to one of the toughest audiences: teenagers. It was great to see how they responded when we ran the ideas by them."

Why Remedy?
"It's not easy to find a company with a conscience. It feels good to know that in some way I'm helping people. I'm also a bit of health freak, too."
